A unique cultivar with red-tinged husks, high content of astragaloside IV, high root yield, and thick roots! Soft-yellow coloured flowers. Tolerant of dry soils. Reported be one of the 50 fundamental herbs used in traditional Mongolian medicine, and a TCM plant.
