The Buttonbush, native to North America, grows well in moist to wet areas. Often found in flood plains, swamps, and mangroves. This interesting plant, once mature will attract a variety of wildlife; bees and hummingbirds while it's blooming, mallard ducks will eat the fruits, deer will eat the leaves all while wood ducks may use it for nesting!
