Bleeding heart are a very easy and beautiful hardy perennial for the mainly-shaded garden, and do well even in dry areas under trees, and around homes, and they even grow under the acid-producing evergreen trees! Obviously they are also quite happy in rich, moist soil also. Great plants for spring color!
