Chamaenerion fleischeri, formerly Epilobium fleischeri, commonly known as Alpine willowherb, is perennial with fragrant pink flowers from late June to August. The foliage is bristly and needle-like. Flowers first year from seed with an early sowing. An excellent hardy perennial for the rock garden!
This plant is endemic to the Alps, in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Austria.
