The Story

This hardy perennial grass is native to North America, growing well in dry, well-drained soils. It has been awarded the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. Quite hardy, though can also be grown as an annual in colder climates. Flowers first year. Second year plants will bloom from July to October and are a great pollinator plant. Can also be used as a cut-flower. White flowers tinged with pink.
