
The Story
Native to USA, this RARE species occurs only in the American state of Michigan. It is a prostrate, mat-forming plant. It typically grows very low to the ground, trailing and forming dense clumps with stems up to 16cm long, and only 2" tall. Blooms from June to September with bright yellow flowers. It grows best in marshy areas, preferring wet conditions. This perennial flower typically blooms first year from seed.
