The Story

Tufted evening-primrose or fragrant evening-primrose, is a perennial native to western North America. Famous for its large, fragrant white flowers that open at sunset and fade to pink, and long blooming season in early to late summer. The plant is also a heavy producer of nectar, frequently visited by hawkmoths. They are grown in rock gardens, moon gardens, and in native plant gardening. The plants require good drainage.
