This biennial is native to parts of Europe, North Africa and out to central Asia. Growing in fields and meadows, it's a great pollinator plant for bees and butterflies. If started early enough, it can flower first year. Moderately self-seeding, but not likely to take over an area. Blooms from June to September. Can be used as a cut flower.
