The Story
Sarracenia leucophylla develops a dense rosette of upright trumpet-shaped pitchers that are known for their striking appearance with broad ruffled hoods, and bold patterning which ranges in color from green to burgundy, red, white, pink, with deep red veining.
The large flowers are extremely showy, rose to dark-pink, and nodding with an umbrella-like style. They are held on tall stems above the plants. The flowers last several weeks, attracting spring pollinators.
