This vetch is part of the pea family, native to parts of Europe and Asia. Has a slight climbing habit, which can sometimes choke out other tender plants. Grows from a taproot. Flowers from June to August, forming up to 40 flowers along a one-sided raceme. Does well in shady conditions.
